You will assume overall technical responsibility for our data engineering projects, define integration standards, and ensure scalability, security, and governance.

You are responsible for stable and high-quality data flows through the optimization of database queries, data pipelines, and ensuring data quality and integrity.

You work closely with management and stakeholders, support the implementation of business requirements, and maintain structured documentation.

You define best practices and standards, mentor junior and expert data engineers, and promote a collaborative work culture.

You evaluate and implement new technologies, optimize processes, and sustainably develop our data landscape in line with company goals.

You have completed a degree or training in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field – alternatively, you have relevant practical experience.

You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer and possess in-depth knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL), Data Vault modeling, and experience with ETL tools such as Airbyte and Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration.

You have experience in programming languages such as Python or Java, are proficient in using GitHub, and possess a deep understanding of enterprise-wide data and system landscapes, as well as experience in the implementation of standards and governance models.

You impress with your strong analytical skills, confident demeanor and excellent communication skills – you advise stakeholders competently, take a solution-oriented approach and demonstrate a high level of customer and service orientation.

You work independently, in a structured and team-oriented manner, are open to new technologies and are willing to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and actively drive them forward.
