  • You will assume overall technical responsibility for our data engineering projects, define integration standards, and ensure scalability, security, and governance.

  • You are responsible for stable and high-quality data flows through the optimization of database queries, data pipelines, and ensuring data quality and integrity.

  • You work closely with management and stakeholders, support the implementation of business requirements, and maintain structured documentation.

  • You define best practices and standards, mentor junior and expert data engineers, and promote a collaborative work culture.

  • You evaluate and implement new technologies, optimize processes, and sustainably develop our data landscape in line with company goals.

  • You have completed a degree or training in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field – alternatively, you have relevant practical experience.

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer and possess in-depth knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL), Data Vault modeling, and experience with ETL tools such as Airbyte and Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration.

  • You have experience in programming languages ​​such as Python or Java, are proficient in using GitHub, and possess a deep understanding of enterprise-wide data and system landscapes, as well as experience in the implementation of standards and governance models.

  • You impress with your strong analytical skills, confident demeanor and excellent communication skills – you advise stakeholders competently, take a solution-oriented approach and demonstrate a high level of customer and service orientation.

  • You work independently, in a structured and team-oriented manner, are open to new technologies and are willing to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and actively drive them forward.
