Senior AI Engineer (f/m/d) Python, LLM & RAG – Remote / Home Office

What can you expect?

Do you want to develop productive AI applications and actively shape the future of our AI services? Then you've come to the right place. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• You develop productive, AI-powered applications and automation solutions using Python.
• You design and implement RAG systems and agentic workflows.
• You develop backend services and REST APIs, including using FastAPI.
• You work with Large Language Models, embedding models, and modern agent frameworks.
• Together with the team, you ensure the quality, safety, and traceability of our AI applications.
• You contribute to the continuous development of our software through code reviews and independent implementation.

What should you bring?

• You have a degree in computer science, data science, or a comparable field, and at least five years of experience in professional software development with Python.
• You bring solid experience in the development of backend systems and REST APIs – ideally with FastAPI – with
• You have practical experience with LLM-based applications, RAG systems or agentic workflows and are familiar with modern AI frameworks such as LlamaIndex, LangChain, PydanticAI or comparable technologies.
• You value clean, maintainable and production-ready code and actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• You also work independently and responsibly and have good English skills for collaboration in our teams.

A plus, but not a must:

• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or Azure AI Services
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes
• Knowledge of handling vector databases
