Qualifications

You say, "I don't know yet, but I'll find out," and you mean it. You take ownership of problems until they're solved, even if things change. You have a natural interest in AI and are already experimenting with it in your work. You bring people along and make the team better in the process. You see Spark Reply as something you're helping to build, not just a workplace.

  • You have successfully completed a degree in product design, business informatics, data science or a comparable field of study.
  • A proven track record in Experience Design, Service Design , or a related user-centered design discipline at the intersection of design and strategy.
  • Pronounced craftsmanship in Experience or Service Design: high-quality blueprints, experience frameworks and design-driven strategy artifacts on which customers have acted.
  • Comprehensive strategic thinking that expands your design skills: you can categorize a business problem, structure a value case, and hold your own in discussions about operating models or transformation strategies.
  • articulate at the design-technology interface: not as a developer, but as a designer who has worked alongside engineering and data teams for years, understands the framework and knows which questions to ask.
  • Experience in AI adoption, change management or enablement: you understand the human factor in introducing new capabilities into organizations.
  • Confident in stakeholder discussions at the director level: senior workshops, dealing with resistance, ensuring alignment.
  • Experience in leading small teams and a business acumen alongside technical skills: you take responsibility for the development of others and for the commercial results of the work you manage.
  • Excellent German and English skills , as well as occasional willingness to travel, complete your profile.

Tasks

  • Lead client projects at the intersection of experience design and AI enablement: from service discovery to adoption and change, with full responsibility for the results.
  • Translate customer challenges into structured consulting programs : define the design approach, delivery plan, and governance that fit the specific problem.
  • Build and deepen client relationships at the director level: act as the primary trusted contact on active accounts and identify where collaboration can be deepened or expanded.
  • Design offers: develop the narrative, formulate the value case, and convincingly integrate the design and AI perspective into commercial discussions.
  • Set the quality standard for design and strategy results: Service Blueprints, Experience Frameworks, AI adoption roadmaps, and artifacts that connect design intention with implementation.
  • Stay hands-on where it matters: get directly involved in the work and take on a blueprint yourself or moderate a workshop when the commitment requires it.
  • Lead and develop a small team of consultants and senior consultants: personnel responsibility, performance management, hiring, and coaching. Take ownership of raising standards and developing the people on the team, not just delivering results through them.
  • Build the practice, not just the commitment: contribute to business development, offering development, hiring, internal frameworks, and the operational foundation of a growing team. During a build-up phase, what doesn't yet exist is part of the job.
