Tasks

As a working student, you will support our consulting team in ongoing client projects and internal initiatives. You will gradually grow into independent tasks – depending on your experience, interests, and development level.

Typical topics include:

  • Support with gap analyses , risk analyses and maturity level assessments
  • Participation in the establishment, further development and maintenance of ISMS structures.
  • Research and analysis of regulatory and normative requirements and derivation of initial proposals for action
  • Creation and maintenance of concepts, guidelines, reports and decision templates (e.g. in PowerPoint/Word)
  • Support with internal and external audits and assessments (preparation, follow-up, documentation)
  • Contribution to security governance, role and organizational models

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program in IT, business, technology or security , or a comparable qualification.
  • Passion for IT security and motivation to pragmatically improve security levels and protection needs.
  • Interest in standards, regulatory requirements, and structured work practices
  • You constructively question regulations in order to truly understand requirements and translate them cleanly into practice.
  • Analytical thinking skills and a careful, understandable work ethic
  • Willingness to travel for client projects and company events within Germany – scope depending on the project situation and your personal circumstances, flexibly adjustable.
  • Willingness to pursue professional development and gradually assume responsibility
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills

Desirable, but not absolutely necessary:

  • Basic knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT Baseline Protection or comparable frameworks
  • Initial project or consulting experience (e.g. internship, university project, student assistant)
  • Basic understanding of technical IT and security topics
