Co-Trainer / Teaching Assistant (m/w/d) – Data Analytics, Data Science & KI

Job Description

Are you comfortable working with data, code, or AI applications and able to communicate your knowledge clearly? Then support our participants as a co-trainer and teaching assistant in applying specialist content, solving technical problems, and successfully implementing their own projects.

DataSmart Point Academy is an AZAV-certified training provider based in Berlin. We qualify adults for careers in data analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence. Our classes are live and entirely online – so you can work with us from anywhere.

Your role with us

As a co-trainer and teaching assistant, you will work closely with our specialist trainers. You will support participants during lessons, practice phases, and practical projects.

You don't just explain content. You analyze errors, examine solutions, and help participants to continue working independently in their field.

Your tasks

  • Support for specialist trainers in live online lessons
  • Professional support of participants in exercises and projects
  • Answering questions about code, data analysis, dashboards, and AI applications.
  • Support for troubleshooting in Python, SQL, Power BI and other tools
  • Conducting practice, review, and reinforcement sessions
  • Individual feedback on tasks, analyses, and project results
  • Supervision of group work as well as practical and final projects
  • Support with project planning, documentation and presentation
  • Observation of learning progress and coordination with the teaching team
  • Further development of exercises and learning materials together with the specialist trainers

Your profile

  • Current or completed studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence or a comparable field
  • Initial experience as a tutor, teaching assistant, co-trainer, lecturer or research assistant
  • Solid knowledge in at least one of our specialist areas.
  • Confident use of Python, SQL, R, Power BI or Tableau
  • Understanding of data analysis, data structures, and statistical relationships
  • Knowledge of generative AI, AI agents, automation, or low-code is advantageous.
  • Ability to explain technical content clearly and understandably
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills
  • Patience, reliability, and a structured work style
  • Enjoyment of working with adult participants and different learning levels
