What makes this job so special?

• Responsibility for the disciplinary management of the BI team (2 employees), including target agreements and regular feedback.
• Building and promoting a data-oriented corporate culture and establishing BI best practices within the team; continuous development of the professional and methodological skills of the employees.
• Close collaboration with management and specialist departments to align and prioritize the BI roadmap.
• Strategic conception, further development and optimization of the BI reporting landscape.
• Analysis of data to derive well-founded recommendations for management and specialist departments.
• Definition and ongoing maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as active support in the development and enhancement of data governance structures.

When would you be a good fit for us?

• Several years of professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, ideally combined with initial management responsibility.
• Proven experience in the design, development and further development of a BI function, from conceptual data modeling and ETL process design to successful implementation.
• Excellent overview of current developments, technologies and trends in the BI environment.
• A strong hands-on mentality and a willingness to participate operationally in projects and analyses.
• Strong communication skills, pronounced leadership skills, and a high degree of personal responsibility and decisiveness.
