For ambitious experts, this newly created role offers an excellent career step : As an OT Security Specialist, you will not manage existing structures, but will independently shape the foundation of our future product security and mold a global technology field from the ground up.

The profile of the position

• Strategic structure: As a dedicated specialist, you will be fully responsible for the field of product cybersecurity and will establish processes where they do not yet exist.
• Interface competence: You work closely and collaboratively with the areas of engineering, product development, IT, product management, compliance, purchasing and sales.
• Decision-making authority: This is not a supporting junior position. We are looking for a person who can independently identify areas for action, make professional decisions, and implement pragmatic solutions – even using initially simple structures.
• Focus on Operational Technology (OT): This is not a classic corporate IT role (no SOC, IAM, or network security). The focus is exclusively on the cybersecurity of products, machines, embedded systems, and industrial OT/ICS environments.

Your main tasks

• Practical application: Translating regulatory cybersecurity requirements into pragmatic and future-proof product development processes.
• Security by Design: Sustainable integration of security architectures into global engineering and R&D.
• Process development: Definition of product security requirements as well as the development and maintenance of SBOM and vulnerability management processes.
• Compliance & Regulatory Affairs: Ensuring compliance with international guidelines (including the Cyber ​​Resilience Act) and support with regulatory reporting obligations.
• Customer & in-house consulting: Professional support for customer-side security requirements as well as the design of internal training and awareness measures.

Your profile

• Professional experience: At least 3+ years of relevant experience in the areas of Product Security, Product Cybersecurity, OT, ICS or Embedded Security.
• Expertise: Sound, practical knowledge of the IEC 62443 series of standards (demonstrable application in practice is more important to us than mere certifications).
• Personality: A strong understanding of industrial value chains, high initiative, and a solution-oriented and assertive work style.
