Data Analytics Engineer (m/w/d)

Do you love building reliable, high-quality data pipelines from disparate data sources? As a Data Analytics Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and operating modern data platforms. Your focus will be on data integration, data quality, automation, and providing consistent and robust data for reporting and analysis.

Your specific tasks include:

• Design, development and operation of scalable data engineering pipelines in Microsoft Azure
• Setting up and maintaining ETL/ELT processes with Azure Data Factory and other Azure services
• Integration of structured and unstructured data from different source systems
• Development of Python-based solutions for data validation, data quality testing and automation.
• Providing analytically usable data for Power BI, Data Analytics and other business applications.
• Optimization of existing data pipelines with regard to performance, stability and scalability
• Development of standards for data governance, data quality and data management
• Implementation of monitoring, logging and error handling mechanisms
• Collaboration with BI teams, data analysts and specialist departments to implement data-driven use cases.
• Ensuring a reliable and future-proof data architecture

• Several years of experience in building and operating data pipelines in Microsoft Azure
• Solid knowledge of Azure Data Factory and other Azure data services
• Excellent Python skills, ideally for data validation and automation.
• Experience in integrating structured and unstructured data sources
• Understanding of data governance and data quality standards
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and error handling in data pipelines
• Team-oriented, communicative working style in collaboration with BI and specialist teams
• Very good German and good English skills
