(SENIOR) CONSULTANT DATA ENGINEERING & SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

• You will support our customers in the conception, implementation and productive use of modern data platforms and data management solutions.
• You design data warehouse and lakehouse architectures from the initial idea to live operation – and bring a clear vision for clean software development.
• You develop and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines not only with AI support, but also with the necessary focus on monitoring and reliable fault handling.
• You structure and model data and implement high-performance data structures for analytics and BI applications – from the raw data to the finished data model.
• You implement data quality and governance pragmatically, creating transparency and traceability along data flows.
• Working closely with specialist departments, you gather requirements in workshops and translate them into viable technical concepts that are then implemented by you or your colleagues.
• As a reliable contact person for our customers, you will inspire enthusiasm for topics related to data engineering and business intelligence.

• A completed degree in (business) informatics, data/analytics, (business) engineering, business administration with a focus on data management, or a comparable qualification.
• At least three years of practical experience in a data and project environment, ideally in a consulting environment.
• Implementation experience in at least one BI tool (ideally Power BI, Qlik Sense or SAC) and a good understanding of modern BI solutions.
• Data modeling, the development of ETL pipelines, and structured data processing have been integral parts of your project experience to date – also in the context of SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA.
• A solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and modern lakehouse architectures, as well as initial experience with analytics and BI setups.
• Experience with specification-driven development in creating ETL pipelines and BI reports using AI tools, and ensuring quality and completeness.
• Enjoyment of consulting, a structured work style and teamwork, combined with very good German and good English skills.
