Data Analyst / Power BI Professional (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Analysis, evaluation and translation of technical requirements from the areas of finance, controlling, production and other business areas into technical BI and reporting solutions.
• Conceptualization, development and further development of scalable data models and reporting architectures based on the Microsoft data platform, in particular:
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Power BI
  • MS SQL Server
  • Power Automaton
  • other relevant Microsoft technologies
• Development of high-performance data models taking into account:
  • Data quality
  • performance
  • Scalability
  • maintainability
  • Capacity Management
• Independent creation, optimization and standardization of dashboards, reports and management analyses for different departments and management levels.
• Development and optimization of complex SQL queries, data extractions, and data integration and transformation processes.
• Ensuring a consistent definition, calculation and documentation of KPIs, key figures and data structures
• Consulting and close collaboration with specialist departments to identify relevant key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
• Planning, management and independent execution of BI, reporting and data analysis projects
• Automation of reporting and business processes using Power Automate and other workflow technologies
• Introduction and further development of reporting standards, governance structures and best practices in the BI environment
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of data quality and the performance of existing data models and reports
• Creation and maintenance of technical and professional documentation for data models, reports, processes and KPI definitions.
• Support in the strategic development of the company-wide data and BI landscape

Your profile

• Completed studies in the field of:
  • Business informatics
  • Computer science
  • Data Analytics
  • Business administration with a focus on IT
  • or comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in the field of Business Intelligence, data analysis or data analytics
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft data and BI platform, in particular:
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Power BI
  • Power Automaton
  • MS SQL Server
  • SQL
  • further relevant Microsoft technologies for data integration and data modeling
• Solid experience in:
  • Data modeling
  • ETL/ELT processes
  • Performance optimization
  • Capacity Management
  • Building scalable BI solutions
• Very good understanding of relational databases and data architectures
• Experience in developing professional dashboards and management reports with high user orientation and visualization quality
• A sound understanding of business relationships and key performance indicators, especially in:
  • Finance
  • Controlling

• Experience in independently conducting and managing analysis and reporting projects
• Knowledge in the areas of data governance, data quality and reporting standards.
• Structured and audit-proof documentation of technical and professional content
• German language skills at least at C1 level in spoken and written form are required.
