Tasks

  • Coordination of organizational and scientific processes in close collaboration with the project management
  • Advising project partners on study design, data management and data integration
  • Organization and support of external audits (business trips)
  • Support in the further development and implementation of the technical research infrastructure
  • Contributing to the preparation of scientific publications, project reports and grant applications.

Profile

  • Completed university degree in (medical) informatics, bioinformatics, data science, medical physics or a comparable field
  • Experience in database management and with research infrastructures is required (e.g., federated systems, clinical data integration, or research data management).
  • Knowledge of radiological data formats, medical imaging and/or medical image data processing is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as enjoyment of collaborating with partners at different locations.
  • Excellent German skills, both spoken and written.

About the RACOON project

In addition to clinical patient care, radiology boasts many exciting research projects, some conducted locally and others across multiple sites. One example is the Radiological Cooperative Network (RACOON), the world's first project of its kind to provide a nationwide infrastructure for the consistently structured collection of radiological data. This platform is now being expanded to include imaging data from other specialties (pathology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy).
