Intern as Data Analyst - Production Supply Assembly (Mandatory Internship)

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to apply and deepen your theoretical knowledge of project and production management, as well as your experience with AI and data analysis, in a practical setting. In return, we look forward to your new ideas. The tasks of the Production Supply team at the Bremen site include managing and optimizing the flow of materials to and within the assembly hall. Your internship will primarily involve system support, where you can develop expertise in software such as SAP and Access databases, as well as participation in an innovation working group where you can contribute to the latest developments in Mercedes-Benz logistics through AI and technological innovations.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Support in the analysis and optimization of existing supply processes as well as independent management of sub-projects in the field of data analysis.

• Independent handling of sub-projects in the area of ​​qualification and occupational safety and creation of suitable training content (presentations, videos, handouts, etc.)

• Participation in the design, documentation and implementation of logistics innovations

• Prototype development of apps and systems to optimize production

• Visualization and presentation of work results as well as maintenance of management reports

• Implementation of the developed concepts with on-site production

The activity can begin from October 2026 (subject to operational lead times).

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, preferably with a focus on Logistics or a comparable field of study

• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.

• Confident use of MS Office

• Commitment and teamwork

• Analytical thinking and strategic working methods

• Creativity and empathy

• Basic programming skills

• Prior knowledge of SAP-based ERP systems is desired.
