As Lead Data Architect – Cloud, Analytics & AI, you will play a key role in our Data & Analytics department. You will design future-proof data architectures, further develop technical standards, and actively shape our portfolio around Cloud Data Platforms, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.

You combine technological depth with strong consulting skills. In client projects, workshops, and pre-sales meetings, you act as a technical sparring partner, understand business requirements, and translate them into viable, scalable solution architectures. Your work lays the foundation for modern analytics solutions, AI-ready data platforms, GenAI use cases, and data-driven business models.

• Design of modern, scalable data architectures for Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Analytics, Reporting and AI use cases
• Overall technical responsibility in customer projects from the architectural idea through conception to quality assurance of implementation.
• Consulting for clients in workshops, pre-sales meetings and proposal phases on data, analytics and AI architectures.
• Translation of business requirements into technical target architectures, solution concepts and implementable roadmaps.
• Integration and harmonization of heterogeneous data sources in centralized and decentralized data platform architectures
• Further development of architectural standards, reference architectures and best practices in the data and analytics environment.
• Close collaboration with data engineers, consultants, analysts and management stakeholders, as well as active knowledge transfer within the team.

• Several years of experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Data Engineer or in a comparable role in the cloud and analytics environment
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture concepts such as Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric or Data Products
• Solid practical experience with Azure and ideally with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake and Power BI
• Expertise in data modeling, data integration, data quality, governance, security and operation of modern data platforms
• Sovereign decision-making and representation of architectural decisions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Enjoyment of consulting, moderating workshops and developing technical solution ideas in presales
• Excellent German skills at C1 level and the ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable way.
