Senior Data Analyst – Project Management & Overall Vehicle Quality VAN/VLE (m/f/d)

A leading player in the automotive industry, based in the Stuttgart metropolitan region, is seeking a dedicated professional to strengthen its overall vehicle quality and project management department. In an innovative and interdisciplinary environment, you will work at the interface of data analysis, process optimization, and strategic decision support – with a focus on sustainable quality improvement and efficient project management.
As part of a cross-site team, you will contribute to developing data-driven solutions that make performance measurable and manageable across the entire automotive value chain.

• Analytical support for project managers in the area of ​​overall vehicle quality through structured data processing and evaluation.

• Participation in the development and improvement of processes for measuring and improving interdisciplinary departmental performance

• Collection, consolidation and validation of data from various disciplines and heterogeneous data sources.

• Merging and analyzing large datasets along the automotive end-to-end process chain (supply chain, production, quality, sales)

• Definition, further development and uniform interpretation of KPIs for evaluating process, project and quality performance

• Development of meaningful reports, interactive dashboards and automated analysis processes with Power BI and Python

• Conducting deviation, trend and root cause analyses as well as identifying optimization potential in interdisciplinary processes

• Derivation of concrete recommendations for action for project management, specialist departments and management

• Creation of target group-oriented decision-making documents and presentation of complex analysis results for non-technical stakeholders.

• Documentation of data sources, calculation logics and analysis processes to ensure transparency and traceability.

• Completed studies in Data Science, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or a comparable field with an analytical focus

• Several years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting

• Solid knowledge in the processing and analysis of large, heterogeneous datasets

• Excellent Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data models, Power Query)

• Excellent knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard development and DAX.

• Good practical Python skills for data preparation, analysis and automation

• Experience in consolidating data from different sources and systems

• Understanding of data quality, KPI logic, and comprehensible reporting structures

• Ability to derive clear insights and actionable recommendations from complex data sets

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a confident demeanor when interacting with project managers and management.
