JUNIOR GENAI ENGINEER (M/W/D)

Tasks

As a Junior GenAI Engineer (m/f/d), you will support the development and implementation of generative AI models, (multi-)agent-based LLM applications, and AI-powered solutions for customer-specific requirements. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and learn to apply modern GenAI technologies in real-world projects.

• You will contribute to the development and maintenance of AI pipelines, APIs, and interactive applications , and gain practical experience with technologies such as Large Language Models, multimodal models, knowledge graphs, and AI-powered products.
• Together with the team, you will analyze business applications for generative AI and support the implementation of technical solutions.
• You work with various technology stacks , such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, LLM frameworks and cloud infrastructure, and continuously develop your skills in these areas.
• You will support collaboration with clients , help analyze requirements in the field of Generative AI, and contribute to the understandable presentation of results .

Qualifications

• Completed or nearing completion of a degree in a technical field, e.g., computer science, business informatics, data science, or a comparable degree program.
• Initial practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP or Machine Learning (e.g. through projects, internships or theses)
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, R or SQL
• Interest in topics such as Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Fine-Tuning or similar LLM techniques
• Basic knowledge of or interest in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Willingness to learn , teamwork skills, and an interest in understanding and explaining complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
• Good communication skills in German and English
