- We set guidelines for occupational safety (OHS) within the DHL Group.
- We develop occupational health and safety (OHS) improvement strategies in collaboration with the global OHS Committee.
- We monitor and support the implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) processes in the divisions.
- We represent the OHS Committee on the OPS Board.
Your tasks
You will support the Corporate OHS team in its international day-to-day business, primarily by identifying and leveraging the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in daily workflows, processes, and programs. This includes the
- Analysis of existing OHS processes and identification of AI use cases
- Advising the team on the efficient use of AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, automation solutions)
- Development of concepts for integrating AI into operational and strategic OHS activities
- Creation of best-practice guides and prompts
- Support for pilot projects and evaluation of efficiency and quality gains
- Promoting the exchange of knowledge about AI applications within the team
Basically, you will work closely with the global team and divisional representatives, as well as in joint calls, meetings and workshops, sometimes with individual colleagues from different divisions around the world.
Your profile
- Advanced studies (BA/MA) in the fields of AI, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or similar
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, process optimization and digitalization
- Practical experience with generative AI (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
- Basic knowledge of data analysis, automation and process mapping
- Ability to explain technical possibilities in an understandable way to specialist departments
- Independent, structured, reliable and analytical work style
- Excellent German and/or English skills, both spoken and written.
- A desire for challenging tasks and taking on responsibility
- Strong analytical skills as well as a methodical and structured way of working
- Fit am PC, in MS Office
Advantageous, but not a necessity:
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power BI or low-code solutions
- Experience with prompt engineering and AI governance
- Interest in health, safety & wellbeing topics in an international context
