AGENTIC SOFTWARE ENGINEER (M/F/D)

Tasks

As a Junior Agentic Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop and implement agent-based functions in our Delivery Squads. Working alongside experienced developers, you will contribute to modern AI solutions in real-world customer projects and support the implementation of intelligent, LLM-based systems.

• Implementation of components for agent-based systems , e.g., tools, prompts, retrieval pipelines, and API integrations.
• Development of tests, evaluations and observability components for LLM-based functions
• Contributing to code reviews , architecture discussions, and customer demos
• Support for proof-of-concepts and prototypes for agent-based AI use cases
• Collaboration with experienced engineering teams in the implementation of modern AI and cloud solutions.
• Continuous development in the field of Generative AI, Agentic Systems and modern software development

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, AI, software engineering or a comparable technical field
• Initial practical experience in software development , e.g. through internships, working student positions, open-source contributions or own projects
• Good knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript , as well as confident use of Git, REST APIs and at least one cloud provider.
• First practical experiences with LLM APIs, Prompt Engineering or RAG – from professional, academic or private projects
• Interest in agent-based systems as well as modern AI technologies and frameworks
• Ideally, initial experience with agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) or knowledge management concepts such as vector databases or RAG.
• Analytical and structured approach to work , as well as enjoyment in solving complex technical problems as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English , and a willingness to travel occasionally.
