About our platform Huacaya: Huacaya is our on-premises platform for AI development and deployment. It enables the secure and efficient hosting, training, and integration of AI models into applications such as chat or process automation. The platform covers the entire AI lifecycle and provides companies with a robust foundation for developing tailored solutions for specific requirements. As part of our team, you will make a significant contribution to the further development of Huacaya and shape innovative AI-based applications within the framework of projects.

• You will work directly at the interface with customers and actively drive the further development of Huacaya, our platform for AI development and deployment , with the goal of quickly bringing solutions into productive use.
• Your work focuses on training, fine-tuning, and providing large language models (LLMs) in a production-oriented manner, always with a view to concrete customer benefits.
• You will develop and iteratively optimize specialized AI models (e.g., in computer vision, NLP, or numerical data analysis) based on real-world requirements and feedback from use.
• Your responsibilities include the integration and further development of backend systems, including APIs, services, and scalable data pipelines.
• Based on Huacaya, you will create customized, scalable solutions for different industries, which you will guide from the initial idea to productive use.
• You will analyze, structure, and curate data to build high-quality training and evaluation datasets and continuously improve model performance.
• Together with clients and interdisciplinary teams, you will develop requirements, translate them into technical concepts, and act as the central point of contact for implementation.
• Through clear documentation and audience-appropriate presentations, you create transparency and support well-founded technical decisions.

Qualifications

• You have a completed degree in (Applied) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or a comparable quantitative field.
• Excellent German and English skills enable you to communicate even complex technical content in an understandable and target-group-oriented manner.
• You already have initial practical experience in the development or deployment of AI systems , for example from projects, internships or professional positions.
• You are confident in your ability to train and fine-tune LLMs and to work with frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of backend development, for example with FastAPI, Django or Flask, enables you to develop production-like applications.
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as with SQL/NoSQL databases and version control, complements your profile.
• You are characterized by an independent, structured and pragmatic way of working, as well as the ability to take responsibility and drive solutions forward even under uncertain conditions.
