AI DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

• You will take on the role of sub-project manager in the DevOps environment and coordinate tasks for all DevOps Engineers within the project.
• You design, implement and operate ML pipelines, including model fine-tuning in the project context.
• You work closely with software developers and ensure a smooth exchange between development and operations.
• You build, automate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development, testing and deployment processes.
• You implement logging and monitoring concepts and ensure transparency, stability and traceability in operations.
• You live and teach the DevOps mentality in our development teams and support them in the efficient use of Git and established workflows.

This is what you bring with you

• A completed degree in (business) informatics or a comparable professional qualification
• Several years of professional experience working with agile methodologies and modern DevOps and CI/CD concepts
• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitLab, Argo CD, and practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Linux in operating containerized platforms.
• Proven experience in the design and operation of logging, monitoring and security solutions, e.g. with Grafana, Grafana Loki, Fluent Bit, as well as with Infrastructure as Code and Secrets Management (e.g. HashiCorp Terraform, HashiCorp Vault) and Identity & Access Management (e.g. Keycloak)
• Excellent Python skills, experience with AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor AI, and experience with common frameworks, e.g., in the context of AI agents or ML-based applications.
• Experience with on-premise deployments as well as hybrid or cloud-based architectures; ideally, you have experience in the public sector environment and have contact with digital sovereignty or sovereign cloud providers (e.g., IONOS).
• Existing cloud or DevOps certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud); further certifications such as PSM I, ITIL 4, CKA, or CKS are advantageous.
• Good German skills (B2)
