SAP Datasphere · SAP Analytics Cloud · SAP Business Data Cloud

You will play a key role in shaping and developing our data and analytics landscape at the interface between business units, IT, and external partners. You will be responsible for the operation and strategic development of our analytics platforms and actively shape the transformation from SAP BW to SAP Business Data Cloud.

With your expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Business Data Cloud, you will develop future-proof data architectures, reporting and analysis solutions, and support our business units in making data-driven decisions. You will take ownership of transformation, implementation, and optimization projects, manage the requirements of various stakeholders, and oversee projects from conception and implementation to successful handover to operations.

Furthermore, the position offers the opportunity to take on additional responsibility in the professional management of projects, external partners or a growing team in the future and to actively shape the further development of the area.

In this role, you will play a key part in establishing innovative technologies and sustainably expanding the added value of our data platforms.

Your tasks

• Conceptualization, further development and support of data and analytics solutions with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud
• Recording, analyzing and prioritizing technical requirements, and implementing them in sustainable data models, data flows, reports and dashboards.
• Responsible management and active participation in transformation, implementation and further development projects
• Contributing to the design of target architectures, standards and governance structures in the field of Data & Analytics
• Consulting and enabling of specialist departments in reporting, self-service analytics and innovative technologies
• Ensuring data quality, governance, documentation and a stable operational handover
• Collaboration with internal teams, international stakeholders and external partners

• Several years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering or Analytics
• Solid practical experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
• A good understanding of SAP Business Data Cloud and confident handling of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience in the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions in complex business environments
• Experience in project management as well as in independently managing or participating in business and IT transformation projects.
• Practical experience in building data models and processing logic in SAP Datasphere
• Experience in developing standard reports in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience in transferring data via the SAP Integration Suite to downstream applications
• Hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and developing solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Business Data Cloud, as well as the willingness to implement requirements through coding and individual technical solutions when necessary.
• Analytical, structured and independent work style as well as strong communication and consulting skills
• Very good German and English skills

Ideally, you should also bring the following:

• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake and modern data lakehouse architectures
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning scenarios
• Experience with SAP BTP, cloud platforms and managing external partners
• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, data science, economics, natural sciences or engineering, or a comparable qualification
