Intelligently using data, automating processes, and driving innovation – that's what AI, Data & Automation is all about. In this area, we develop pioneering solutions along the entire value chain. AI & Machine Learning Solutions creates practical AI applications with real business value, while Data Platforms & Business Intelligence provides powerful data platforms, transparent analyses, and sound decision-making foundations. This is how we make data effective and progress measurable.

Let's do IT!

You usually find a solution to every problem? Or do you even find the solutions? Either way — you enjoy tackling technical challenges, have a keen eye for details, and bring creative ideas to the table? Then we've got some exciting tasks waiting for you. You:

  • implement and produce ML-based services on our AI and big data platform Databricks, using Python, SQL and Linux.
  • consult and enable cross functional teams to build efficient and scalable big data and data science projects and take over production responsibility to ensure continuous business value.
  • improve standard processes and best practices for services and projects on our platform and help to reduce costs for them.
  • write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards and perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • work with adjacent teams on topics such as governance, infrastructure (on AWS, GCP and Azure), data provisioning and scheduling, CI/CD and data engineering.
  • stay up-to-date with related industry trends and technologies, and apply them to enhance our software and service offerings.

Bring IT on!

Do you make the keys smoke when you code? Perfect — we've got solid equipment waiting for you, so you can bring your skills to the team. You:

  • have at least 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering on Databricks, including experience with Unity Catalog, Asset Bundles, Workspace creation, ML Flow, Lakebase and Python or comparable technologies.
  • have at least 5+ years experience in working in Software Engineering with at least one additional high level programming language.
  • have solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases (HANA, MS SQL, MySQL).
  • have advanced knowledge about Linux and Operating Systems and about creating, configuring, using and debugging Spark Clusters.
  • offer strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • have good communication & presentation skills in English and at least basic skills in German.

Get IT and be happy!

In addition to ever-new keyboards, a great team, and a secure workplace, we offer you a wide range of benefits:

  • Permanent employment contract
  • Flexible working hours and mobile working (usually 3 days per week)
  • 30 days of annual vacation (full-time; pro rata for part-time)
  • Performance-based bonus and modern work equipment
  • Workation (up to 30 days per year in selected countries)
  • Sabbatical (after 3 years of employment)
  • Comprehensive onboarding day and personalized training program
  • Health and fitness programs (Wellpass, 7Mind, Lifesum, “Fit with Würth”)
  • Fresh fruit days, health days, company sports groups, and running clubs
  • Career and development programs (eg via Würth Academy)
  • Flat hierarchies and a culture of appreciation
  • Employee events and corporate benefits program
  • Free hot and cold beverages at most locations
  • Employee referral program (“Employees recruit employees”)
  • Loyalty bonuses, anniversary gifts, birth and wedding allowances
  • Relocation cost reimbursement (under certain conditions)
  • JobRad (company bike) and JobTicket (public transport subsidy)
  • Access to Würth company health insurance
