YOUR TASKS

• You lead complex Data & AI projects in the SAP environment and are responsible for their successful implementation – from requirements analysis to go-live.

• In this role, you manage projects holistically throughout their entire life cycle – from strategy and architecture to use case identification and requirements gathering, all the way to implementation and successful integration into operations.
• Together with your team, you will analyze the customers' professional and technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions using SAP BW (BW/4HANA), SAP Datasphere and the SAP Business Data Cloud.
• You are responsible for the content-related and operational management of the projects, coordinate multiple streams, and ensure the quality, stability, and cost-effectiveness of the delivery.
• You lead project teams professionally and disciplinarily, develop your employees in a targeted manner and ensure effective collaboration – even in distributed or international setups.
• As the central point of contact on the client side, you manage stakeholders at the project and management level, moderate coordination meetings and actively support escalations.
• You will contribute to the proposal process and the further development of existing customer relationships, thus contributing to the sustainable development of our projects.
• Through training sessions, project presentations, webinars, and internal and external technology events, you share your knowledge, strengthen the development of skills within the team, and position our expertise towards customers and in the market.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have many years of project experience in the data warehouse environment and have built up comprehensive expertise in SAP BW / BW/4HANA as well as SAP Datasphere or SAP Business Data Cloud.

• You bring sound experience in managing complex projects or project streams and have already successfully led teams in a professional and disciplinary capacity.
• You understand how to implement delivery in a structured, high-quality and economically successful way, while always keeping an overview of priorities, resources and risks.
• Thanks to your high level of initiative and excellent communication skills, you manage both internal teams and demanding customer projects confidently and on equal terms with management.
• Fluent (C1 level) German and very good English skills are a given for you.
• You are enthusiastic about new technologies such as SAP Business Data Cloud or Databricks, you strategically evaluate their use and actively promote their adoption.
• You bring experience in leading and developing teams and employees.
• Ideally, you have experience in coordinating and managing nearshore and offshore teams and have successfully integrated them into projects.
