As an AI Engineer / Data Scientist (m/f/d), you will work in a team on practical GenAI, machine learning, and data science solutions. In collaboration with our clients, you will develop applications that sustainably improve business and production processes and create real added value.

These are your tasks

  • Development and further development of machine learning and generative AI solutions (e.g., with Python, modern AI/ML frameworks and LLMs) using modern, AI-supported development tools
  • Analysis of functional and technical requirements and translation into actionable use cases
  • Conducting exploratory data analyses, model development and prototyping, including evaluation of benefits, risks and feasibility.
  • Integration of data science, ML and GenAI components into existing IT and system landscapes (models, APIs, services, pipelines)
  • Development and enhancement of MLOps and LLMOps workflows (versioning, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, evaluation, and cost and performance optimization)
  • Development and operation of APIs, microservices and data pipelines
  • Participation in the digitalization of business processes and production facilities
  • Taking on professional responsibility in projects as well as providing support and mentoring within the team (at senior level)

This is what you bring with you

  • Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable field
  • Practical experience in Data Science, (Generative) AI Engineering, Data Engineering or Software Engineering, ideally in a consulting or digitalization context
  • Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C# or C++)
  • Experience with machine learning and generative AI as well as common frameworks and tools
  • Initial experience and strong interest in AI-assisted development
  • Knowledge of databases and ideally experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) in the context of ML/AI applications.
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and Git-based CI/CD processes
  • Understanding of MLOps principles and initial experience with LLM-specific topics (e.g., evaluation, prompting, guardrails)
  • Excellent German and English skills, as well as enjoyment of teamwork and working with customers.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
