Job Description

Do you want to not only understand artificial intelligence theoretically, but also apply it in a real industrial project? Then help us shape the future of intelligent maintenance!

As a Data Science & AI Project Employee for Predictive Maintenance (m/f/d), you will initially work on a one-year fixed-term project position developing data-driven solutions for assessing the condition and predicting machine failures. Together with experts from the fields of electrical engineering, service, data science, and IT, you will develop models that reduce unplanned downtime and make maintenance processes more intelligent.

This is what you can expect

  • Data analysis: Preparation, structuring and analysis of machine, operational and service data
  • Predictive Maintenance: Identification of patterns, anomalies, and critical machine conditions
  • Machine Learning: Collaboration in the development of AI models for failure prediction and remaining lifespan calculation
  • Error analysis: Evaluation of error codes, service reports and technical events
  • Condition Monitoring: Development of data-based condition assessments for industrial plants
  • Maintenance optimization: Derivation of concrete recommendations for service, spare parts and maintenance.
  • Interface management: Collaboration with technical departments, service organization and IT
  • Visualization & Reporting: Preparation of results for technical and commercial stakeholders

In short: You transform technical data into informed decisions and help predict machine breakdowns before they occur.

What you should ideally bring

  • Qualification: Degree or technical background in data science, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or industrial engineering
  • AI & Data Science: Interest in machine learning, predictive analytics, and data-driven solutions
  • Data literacy: Experience or interest in data preparation, data analysis, and data models.
  • Technical understanding: Interest in machines, systems, sensors and industrial processes
  • Analytical strength: Ability to derive complex relationships from data
  • Programming skills: Ideally, initial experience with Python, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Working style: Independent, structured and solution-oriented
  • Communication: Ability to present technical results in an understandable way.

You can look forward to that.

  • Share program (VINCI): Participate in the company's success and build wealth
  • Up to 50% mobile working: Flexibility that is truly lived
  • Free learning support for employees' children: Tutoring from 5th grade onwards via video and chat
