SENIOR CONSULTANT - DATA ENGINEERING & AI DATA PRODUCTS (M/F/D)

Tasks

As a Senior Consultant Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will support our team in developing modern data solutions , data products , AI-ready data platforms and data-based AI solutions, as well as optimizing our customers' data usage.

In this role, you will design scalable and efficient data architectures, integrate modern data engineering and AI technologies into existing system landscapes, and take responsibility for complex data projects to sustainably strengthen data-driven decisions.

• Support in the design and implementation of robust and scalable data products, data architectures, data platforms and AI-ready pipelines
• Development and maintenance of pipelines for data transformation , data integration, and data provisioning for analytics, machine learning, GenAI, and reporting use cases from various sources using technologies such as SQL, Python, dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud .
• Capturing our customers' business and technical requirements and implementing them in effective data engineering, data product, and data & AI solutions.
• Support with topics such as data governance, data quality, data product operating models , and the production-like provision of data for AI use cases.
• Support and professional mentoring of junior consultants as well as promotion of continuous learning within the company

Qualifications

• Completed studies, e.g. in (business) informatics, data science or a comparable field of study
• You have a solid understanding of data products, data modeling, data warehousing, data engineering, and modern data & AI architectures.
• You have the ability to analyze complex data structures and derive insights from them in order to develop strategic guidelines .
• You understand how data is prepared, modeled, and made productively usable for analytics, machine learning, GenAI, and AI-based data products.
• It is advantageous if you have experience with Docker , cloud technologies , dimensional & data vault modeling , as well as with DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
• Your open manner and clear communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively within the team as well as engage in professional exchange with our customers.
• You approach complex challenges in a structured manner, developing efficient and creative solutions .
• In our teams, you communicate very well in German and fluently in English.
