Dozent:in / Trainer:in (m/w/d) – Data Analytics, Data Science & KI (live online)

Do you have solid practical experience in data analytics, data science, or AI and want to pass on your knowledge instead of just applying it? Then take on your own modules with us and guide adults on their path to data-driven careers.

DataSmart Point Academy is an AZAV-certified training provider based in Berlin. We qualify adults for careers in data analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence. Our classes are live and entirely online – so you can work with us from anywhere.

Tasks

• You will independently teach modules from our Data Analyst, Data Scientist and AI Manager programs.
• You design your lessons to be practical: real data sets, live coding, case studies instead of pure theory.
• You develop and update teaching materials, exercises, and sample solutions.
• You supervise project work, administer module assessments, and evaluate results.
• You will work together with our Teaching Assistants, who supervise the practice sessions in the afternoon.
• You contribute ideas on how we can further develop content in terms of subject matter and teaching methods.
• Development of high-quality didactic training content using modern tools and methods

Your possible topics

Data Analytics und Data Science

• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn), R und SQL
• Databases, data modeling, ETL processes and data quality
• Statistics, exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing
• Machine Learning: Regression, Classification, Clustering, Model Evaluation
• Data visualization and reporting with Power BI, Tableau and Excel
• Working with Jupyter, Git, APIs and cloud environments

KI-Management (Programm KI-Manager / Head of AI)

• Conversational AI and Digital Analytics Strategy
• AI Agents und Generative Business Intelligence: LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG
• AI Automation and Low-Code Integration: n8n, Make, Power Automate, AI-powered code generation
• Data Governance, Compliance and AI Operations: GDPR, EU AI Act, Data Ethics, Monitoring
• Strategic AI Business Management: AI strategies, use case evaluation, economic viability, project management

You teach the modules you excel in. You don't have to cover everything.

Your profile

• Completed studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field
• At least two to three years of relevant professional experience in analytics, data science or AI projects.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching, training, workshops or in leading teams
• Solid knowledge of Python, R or SQL, as well as the tools of your specialization.
• You explain complex concepts in an understandable way and adapt your pace to the group.
• Experience in dealing with heterogeneous learning groups and with career changers:
• Confident handling of digital learning formats and video conferencing tools
• Reliability, structure and commitment in scheduling
• Excellent German skills, both written and spoken; English skills suitable for specialist literature and tools.

Advantageous

• Additional pedagogical qualification, instructor qualification (AEVO) or experience in subsidized further education
• Experience with AZAV measures or education voucher courses
• Certifications in cloud or AI technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Experience with Git, Docker, or MLOps tools

• Attractive fee of €30.60 to €45.80 per hour, depending on the module and experience.
