Your new task

• As part of our AI Hub, you will work with specialist departments to design concrete AI use cases and take responsibility for developing and operating models and systems from idea to production-ready solution.

• Through targeted selection, training, and feature and prompt engineering, you can bring AI models from the fields of machine learning, computer vision, and large language models to a high-performance level.

• Working closely with software teams, you will deploy and integrate GenAI and LLM-based models into existing software systems and cloud architectures, develop APIs and services, and optimize solutions in terms of performance and scalability.

• The design of our GenAI platform is in your hands: You build ML and CI/CD pipelines, maintain versioning and monitoring, and thus ensure the reliability and scalability of our AI infrastructure.

• With technical foresight, you evaluate new technologies and frameworks in the field of AI and MLOps and actively contribute your findings to collaborative work with data scientists, development teams and project managers.

What will impress us?

• A completed degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field forms your professional basis, or you can convince us with a comparable qualification and the potential to grow in this dynamic environment.

• You have already gained relevant professional experience in the field of software engineering, machine learning or cloud engineering with an AI focus, complemented by sound programming skills in Python as well as routine handling of Git, FastAPI, CI/CD processes and code reviews.

• You are at home in the field of machine learning and learning management (MLM): From data preparation and feature engineering to training, evaluation, and MLOps, you bring proven expertise with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Your motivation to delve deeper into tools like MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform sets you apart.

• Experience with cloud environments, ideally Azure, as well as basic knowledge of database systems, SQL, Spark and data governance round out your technical profile.

• Fluent German and English skills enable you to communicate effectively in international teams. A passion for innovation, a broad technical understanding, and a strong hands-on mentality drive you to explore new paths with us.
