The position is located at our main plant in Lengerich – conveniently situated in the triangle between Münster, Osnabrück, and Bielefeld.

• You are responsible for data integration and modeling in SAP Datasphere, connecting source systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, databases and interfaces, building stable loading processes and developing ETL/ELT processes including transformation logic, delta handling, error handling and monitoring.
• You develop data models (views, analytic models, facts and dimensions) according to defined standards, ensuring data quality, performance and traceability through data lineage and careful documentation.
• You develop stories, analytic applications and planning applications in SAP Analytics Cloud, implement a uniform look & feel, consistently use standard components and transfer solutions to the production environment after testing and acceptance with the specialist departments.
• You gather technical requirements from the specialist departments, evaluate and refine them, and translate them into implementable data products - advising on feasibility, effort and sensible solutions, and coordinating with the adjacent IT roles.
• You will be responsible for the operation and further development of the platform: You will fix errors, maintain existing data models and reports, optimize runtimes and resource consumption, and actively contribute to standards, governance, and documentation – in the future also with AI and advanced analytics use cases as well as scripts in SQL, Python, or R.
• You take responsibility for defined topics and work packages in projects, provide technical guidance to both junior and working students, review data models and dashboards, and promote self-service competence in the specialist departments through training and guidelines.

• You have a completed degree in (business) informatics, computer science, statistics, data analytics or a comparable qualification and bring many years of professional experience in the development of BI and data solutions with a focus on data integration, ETL and dashboard development.
• You have supported projects in building data models and reports on a cloud-based BI platform – ideally with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• You bring initial experience in collaborating with specialist departments - from gathering requirements to translating them into actionable data products.
• You communicate fluently in German and English, are proficient in MS Office, and have an understanding of data quality, authorization concepts, and governance in a corporate environment.
• Ideally, you have some initial experience with AI and advanced analytics topics - SAP certifications in the SAP Datasphere and/or SAP Analytics Cloud environment, as well as further training in agile methods (for example, Professional Scrum Master), are a plus.
