Applied AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Integration and deployment of modern AI models into our software platform.
• Development of scalable data, inference, and training pipelines for computer vision applications.
• Further development of our solutions
• Building and operating distributed AI workloads with Kubernetes and Ray Serve.
• Quality assurance, testing and monitoring of AI systems in productive use.
• Close collaboration with Product, Software Engineering and Data Science.

Your profile

Must-have

• Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics, data science, artificial intelligence or a comparable qualification or relevant practical experience.
• Excellent programming skills in Python as well as experience with modern software engineering practices (Git, CI/CD, Testing).
• Experience with PyTorch, Transformers, NumPy and Pandas.
• Confident handling of GitHub and modern development processes.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Structured and pragmatic approach to work with a focus on productive solutions.
• Good German and English skills.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Ray Serve or similar serving frameworks.
• Knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps and cloud-based ML workflows.
