- Development, implementation and continuous optimization of data-driven models for analyzing customer behavior, customer preferences and customer affinities along the customer journey.
- Design and application of machine learning, forecasting, classification and personalization models for the optimization of marketing and sales processes
- Application of modern statistical methods, causal inference methods and treatment effect models to improve targeting, campaign and sales measures.
- Analysis and linking of large data sets from different sources such as CRM, web analytics, marketing and market data to generate actionable business insights.
- Development, testing and validation of data-based hypotheses, as well as derivation of scalable recommendations for marketing and sales.
- Consulting for specialist departments and management through meaningful analyses, dashboards, reports and visualizations.
- Teamwork in a motivated, interdisciplinary and agile team
Your profile
- Completed studies (at least a Master's degree, ideally a PhD) in Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field
- Several years of professional experience as a Data Scientist (m/f/d), Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) or in the field of Advanced Analytics, ideally with a focus on Marketing, Customer Analytics or data-driven business models.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and the development of productive data science solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python and sound theoretical and practical knowledge of modern machine learning techniques and tools
- Ideally, experience with causal inference, uplift modeling, recommender systems, or personalization solutions.
- Solution-oriented, experimental, hands-on approach to work with a high degree of personal responsibility and willingness to take ownership of projects and results.
