Your tasks...

• You design and build ELT/ETL processes and workflows for data processing and orchestration in one of the key technologies such as Databricks or Microsoft Fabric, and advise our customers on their Lakehouse and Warehouse platforms in the Microsoft Azure universe.
• You proactively participate in requirements gathering workshops and, together with business analysts, translate technical requirements into robust technical solutions and offers.
• You model data according to Star Schema or Data Vault, take the lead in this process, and bring best practices to the project and the team.
• You use Copilot in Fabric or similar AI-powered tools where they truly make you faster, not as an end in themselves.
• You keep up to date with new developments in the Azure data platform world and proactively share them with the team and our customers.
• You pass on your knowledge to more junior colleagues and are the contact person for technical questions in everyday project work.
• You support pre-sales processes and tenders from a technical perspective.

Your profile...

• Several years of practical experience in the Azure data platform in one of the key technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
• Solid data modeling according to Star Schema or Data Vault; you take the lead yourself instead of just contributing.
• You proactively represent your professional opinion, both to customers and within the team, and you make customers feel well taken care of.
• Strong communication skills in direct customer contact, German language skills at least C1 level.

If life were a wish concert, then...

• Experience with classic on-premise Microsoft stacks (SQL Server, SSIS), mostly in the context of migrations.
• Points of contact with data governance or data catalog tools.
• DevOps practice with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
