The goal of this role is to strategically, organizationally, and technically align the group's cybersecurity capabilities to ensure the sustainable protection of business processes, production capacity, digital transformation, and regulatory requirements. As Senior Director Global Cyber ​​Security and CISO (m/f/d), you will create group-wide transparency regarding cyber risks, define binding security architectures and governance mechanisms, and ensure that cybersecurity is firmly established within the group as an effective contributor to resilience, business continuity, and trust.

Tasks

  • In your role, you will develop and manage the group-wide cybersecurity strategy by prioritizing it and implementing it in a binding manner.
  • As Group CISO (m/f/d), you represent cyber security by positioning it as a central governance, risk and decision-making function within the corporate group.
  • As part of your architectural responsibility, you will define and establish the technical security architecture, including target architecture, reference architectures, and standards for IT, OT, cloud, identity, network, endpoint, monitoring, applications, and platforms.
  • By implementing security-by-design, you ensure that security requirements, zero-trust principles, and architectural governance are embedded in transformations, projects, and operating models.
  • To ensure cyber resilience , you manage group-wide how organizations prepare for, respond to, and learn from serious cyberattacks.
  • In the context of risk and compliance, you are responsible for management by ensuring cyber risk management, regulatory requirements, controls, and traceability across the group.
  • With regard to the organization and the operating model, you will assume leadership by professionally and disciplinarily managing and developing Global Cyber ​​Security, Corporate Security Officers, the Cyber ​​Security project management team, and the Global Cyber ​​Defense Center.
  • In terms of budget and resources , you manage the cybersecurity program by being responsible for financial resources, human resources, investment priorities, and strategic partners.
  • As part of executive reporting , you ensure transparency by regularly informing management and relevant bodies about the risk situation, program progress, architectural effectiveness, incidents and decision-making needs .

  • With your strong focus on strategic leadership and organizational development, you will significantly shape cyber security by anchoring it as a group-wide leadership, risk and transformation task, leading international teams and further developing the operating model as well as roles, responsibilities and partner structures.
  • Thanks to your strong communication skills at the executive level, you actively shape decision-making processes by clearly and appropriately presenting complex technical risks, architectural decisions, threat situations and investment needs to management and committees, and by enforcing security requirements even in the face of conflicting objectives.
  • Based on your in-depth technical expertise , you will develop and implement security architectures with the aim of creating group-wide solutions for IT, OT, Cloud as well as Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Network Segmentation, Endpoint Security, Monitoring, Vulnerability Management and Zero Trust.
  • Your sound experience in the field of cyber risk, governance and compliance ensures robust structures, enabling you to effectively establish and manage cyber risk management, security governance, control systems, policies, KPIs, audits and regulatory and normative requirements.
  • In critical situations, you demonstrate exceptional strength in crisis and incident leadership by leading confidently even under high time, decision and reputational pressure, setting clear priorities and coordinating cross-organizational responses.
  • With your comprehensive understanding of business, production, and transformation processes, you make a crucial contribution to security by penetrating the operations of a global manufacturing company and ensuring the safeguarding of key value creation, logistics, engineering, production, and digitalization processes.
  • In addition, you can underline your qualifications with recognized certifications , such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer (m/f/d) or Lead Auditor (m/f/d).
In cases of minor deviations, the requirements can also be met through relevant professional experience or further training.
