The family-run wellteam group of companies has been a successful manufacturer of corrugated board and packaging since 1977. With our more than 600 employees, we produce everything from robust transport packaging to high-end retail displays – all from a single source – using corrugated board, a naturally recyclable material. The principles of the circular economy have shaped our daily operations since our founding. Your profile

• A completed commercial or technical apprenticeship, ideally a degree in business informatics, innovation management or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in the field of digital transformation or the introduction of AI tools
• Demonstrable project management experience in agile or traditional project environments, preferably also in managing external service providers.
• Safe handling of modern IT systems and common AI applications
• Technical understanding combined with an economic mindset
• Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP or Generative AI
• Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms and MLOps

Your tasks

• Artificial intelligence (AI) is still in its early stages for us – you will build this future-oriented field from the ground up in our company, establish standards and actively drive its development forward.
• Successful management and implementation of digitization and AI projects from initial conception to final rollout
• Responsibility for the entire spectrum of project implementation – from independent in-house execution to targeted management and cooperation with external service providers.
• Analysis of existing systems and identification of AI use cases for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
• Central coordination and mediation between IT, the operational departments (user level) and management.
• Supporting the company through digital transformation and promoting AI acceptance among the workforce through training.
• Ensuring data protection, ethical standards and legal frameworks (e.g. EU AI Act)
• Consideration of current cybersecurity standards in the design, implementation and operation of AI and digitization solutions, as well as early identification and assessment of potential security risks.
