We – Apleona BS GmbH – are looking for a Cyber ​​Security & Resilience Specialist (m/f/d) - Smart Buildings - JobID 26988 for our location in Frankfurt am Main or alternatively in Munich / Cologne / Hanover / Hamburg or Berlin. Your responsibilities will include:

• They actively participate in shaping the development and advancement of an innovative OT/IoT/AI cybersecurity environment in networked buildings.
• They develop secure OT/IoT target architectures (segmentation, zones/conduits, handover points) and coordinate these with IT (network/IT security/infrastructure).
• They conduct OT/IoT security assessments (BMS/BAS, access control, video surveillance, energy management) including action planning (hardening, secure configuration, patch/change planning).
• They identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop measures in accordance with NIST, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001.
• They set up and continuously develop monitoring & logging (including SIEM integration), OT use cases, alerting, incident response and restart processes.
• They are involved in the development of new security standards and governance models for networked building technology.
• They maintain regular communication with manufacturers, facility teams, and the bank's IT and security departments.
• They manage security measures projects, including service provider/manufacturer management, are responsible for documentation and ensure audit-proof documentation.

This is what we expect from you:

• You have a completed degree in computer science, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, building/utility engineering or a comparable qualification.

• They can point to several years of relevant experience in the field of OT/building automation systems (BMS/BAS) and corresponding networks.

• They possess in-depth knowledge of common protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus; ideally KNX, M-Bus, DALI).

• They score points with sound practical know-how in network and security concepts (segmentation, firewalls, NAC/Zero Trust, remote access)

• They are familiar with risk and vulnerability analyses as well as standards and frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST), ideally in a regulated industry.

• They work in a structured manner, with strong documentation and communication skills, at the interface between technology and management, and enjoy the continuous development of processes and systems.

• They are prepared to travel to our bank client's properties as needed and by prior arrangement.
