Job Description
Are you looking for an entry point into the cybersecurity industry and want to actively contribute to a safer digital world using the knowledge gained during your studies? Then you've come to the right place! You'll support our DevOps expert and the Incident Response Team in the further development and maintenance of analysis and automation tools for IT forensics. You'll not only be responsible for the further development of existing solutions, but you can also contribute your own ideas at any time. Sound good? The points listed below should be understood as areas of responsibility, within which you will take on individual sub-tasks. We will provide you with the necessary training for these tasks.
Your tasks
- You maintain deployments of internal software in the areas of incident response and IT forensics.
- You develop and manage internal tools, e.g., smaller web applications.
- You are responsible for creating parsers that can process a wide variety of log and data formats.
- You program scripts for the efficient solution of IT forensic tasks.
Your profile
- You are studying IT security, computer science or a comparable field of study and are enrolled for at least another 12 months.
- You have advanced knowledge of programming with Python and ideally also of the associated web frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- You are proficient in using Linux-based systems and have experience with Git(Lab).
- Ideally, you have some initial experience with Ansible and Docker, as well as with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- You enjoy working on tricky cases, analyzing emerging problems, and contributing new ideas to solve them.
- You communicate fluently in spoken and written German (at least C1 level).
