Senior Software Engineer (human) – Platform & Cross-Functional Services
at the location in Dortmund, Heilbronn or Rosenheim.
The role: The foundation of our development
As a Senior Software Engineer (human) in this area, you won't be assigned to a single product, but will develop the technological backbone of our entire organization. You'll build the cross-functionality upon which all our products are based and define the standards that make us scalable and secure.
- Cross-Functional Architecture: You are responsible for the architecture, development, and stable operation of central services (e.g., authentication, logging, billing, provisioning, etc.) that are used across products.
- Framework Engineering: You create and maintain frameworks (frameworks/libraries) that enable our product teams to develop quickly and consistently.
- Security & Compliance: You will take the lead on general security topics and ensure that our platform standards meet the highest requirements.
- ISO 27001 … Roadmap: You actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 and translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
- Operational Excellence: You ensure that core functions remain highly available and performant through modern support and monitoring.

- Experience: Many years of experience in software development with a strong focus on system architecture and platform design
- Security mindset: You have a deep understanding of IT security and ideally already have experience with certifications such as ISO 27001.
- Full-lifecycle responsibility: You not only master the coding, but also feel at home in the operation (DevOps/SRE) and support of your services.
- Abstract reasoning skills: You can translate complex requirements into generic, reusable frameworks.
- Tech stack: Proficient in Node.js and Java, and ideally experience with SAP UI5 and SAP ABAP.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud infrastructures such as Microsoft Azure, ideally also with SAP BTP, as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Language skills: You have fluent German and good English skills.
