(SENIOR) AI SOFTWARE CONSULTANT

Tasks

• As a Senior Software Consultant , you are familiar with software engineering and development for frontend and backend technologies.
• In this role you will design and develop software applications according to agreed specifications , work in a team with developers and solve problems for our customers.
• You will demonstrate architectural excellence and are an expert in developing high-performance applications .
• Your daily tasks include software development , the deployment of applications in production environments, and communication with customers .
• You create technical concepts for public tenders in the GovTech sector – especially in open-source-based software development , modern architectures and digital public services.
• You analyze tender documents and derive technical solutions , architectural proposals, implementation concepts, and effort estimates. You assume technical responsibility in software delivery projects – depending on the setup, as a Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or Solution Engineer.
• Ideally, you will act as a coach and mentor . This also includes managing reference architectures and management systems, as well as conducting product reviews.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a university degree in (business) informatics or a similar IT-related field.
• Years of experience in developing modern software solutions with Spring , Kotlin , React or Angular enable you to design sophisticated applications and successfully implement them in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with CI/CD , test automation and scalable architectures.
• Taking on technical responsibility motivates you – from developing innovative solution concepts and architectural designs for GovTech and digitization projects to taking on an active role as a Technical Leader .
• You are characterized by curiosity about new technologies and a strong innovative spirit, and you purposefully use AI-supported development approaches , agentic software engineering , and modern tools such as GitHub Copilot , Claude Code , or Cursor in your work.
• Ideally, you already have experience in the public sector or regulated environments.
• Excellent German and English skills , as well as a confident demeanor, complete your profile.
