Job Description
These are your tasks:
- They manage our cybersecurity services and ensure the secure and reliable operation of our IT infrastructure by implementing technical specifications, with a focus on network and endpoint security.
- They manage the entire lifecycle of the services they support, from the technical implementation of new requirements and configuration to the management of the associated assets, licenses, and tools.
- Based on the current threat situation, you actively participate in holistic security concepts and propose targeted measures to continuously optimize our level of protection and keep it in line with relevant standards and requirements (such as ISO 27001 or BSI basic protection).
- They independently handle demanding second- and third-level requests and ensure long-term stability and security of the services through in-depth root cause analyses and proactive adjustment of rule sets.
- They focus on the implementation and optimization of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) measures to technically prevent the unauthorized outflow of sensitive information in accordance with legal requirements (such as the German Trade Secrets Ordinance).
You bring the following with you:
- You possess in-depth knowledge of network technology and cybersecurity, with a particular focus on firewalls, EDR, and data loss prevention. You also have experience working with PKI and certificates.
- They are familiar with common standards such as ISO 27001 or BSI IT Baseline Protection
and can reliably translate these into technical security measures. Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework is a valuable addition. - They approach complex technical challenges analytically and act as a competent contact person to precisely capture requirements and prepare them for technical implementation.
- They enjoy actively shaping the security of our systems in a growing environment and building it up sustainably through a structured and thorough approach.
- You have a completed university degree or technical training with several years of professional experience. Furthermore, you communicate confidently in German and English.
