Your new team

As a BI and Data Analyst, you will play a central role in the further development of our data-driven organization. You will combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of business processes and support management and specialist departments in making better and faster decisions based on reliable data.
You will be responsible for our BI and data landscape and will strategically develop it towards AI-enabled BI. Modern AI tools, MCP-based integrations, and automated analysis processes are a key component of our future way of working.

Tasks

  • You are a sparring partner for management and specialist departments on data-driven issues and operational processes.
  • You are responsible for the stable operation and continuous development of our data warehouse and our Microsoft Power BI solutions.
  • Together with the specialist departments, you will develop and define relevant KPIs along our entire value chain.
  • You will continuously develop our selection, analysis and ETL infrastructure.
  • You are driving the expansion and optimization of our Microsoft Azure data landscape.
  • You are the central contact person for data, evaluations, reports and key figure-based analyses.
  • You analyze complex issues, identify optimization potential, and derive concrete recommendations for action.
  • You support new projects early on from a data and BI perspective.
  • Together with us, you will further develop our BI landscape towards AI-enabled BI.
  • You work with modern AI and analytics tools such as getdot.ai and evaluate new solutions for self-service analytics, automated insights and data access.
  • You will develop MCP-based integrations that allow AI systems to access data sources, BI systems, and company knowledge securely and in a structured manner.
  • You automate recurring analyses, reports, documentation and data processes using AI.
  • Together with the specialist departments, you will develop new AI-supported use cases and transfer successful approaches into productive processes.

Requirements

  • You have several years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Data Engineering.
  • You have in-depth experience with Microsoft Power BI and modern BI architectures.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Gen2 and Data Factory, is an advantage.
  • You have experience with different data sources and technologies such as MySQL/MariaDB, Google BigQuery, Excel/CSV, OData and REST APIs.
  • You are strongly interested in the use of AI in the BI and analytics environment and would like to actively develop classic BI processes.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with LLMs, AI Agents, MCP, getdot.ai or similar AI analytics solutions.
  • You possess excellent analytical skills, work in a structured manner, and quickly find your way around complex system landscapes and business processes.
  • You work independently, take responsibility, and actively contribute your own ideas and improvements.
  • You communicate clearly and understandably and enjoy working with different departments and stakeholders.
