This allows them the opportunity to improve their lives and plan for their future. Fairtrade offers consumers a powerful way to reduce poverty through their everyday shopping.Fairtrade International is the international non-profit, multi stakeholder body that is responsible for the strategic direction of Fairtrade, sets Fairtrade standards and supports producers.

A key aspect of our work is tracking the impact of Fairtrade on producers. The Global Impact unit does this by using data and evidence to drive decision making and planning, by being responsive to the views of our stakeholders including producer organizations and communities that we work with, and through learning lessons from our work which inform further programme development.
